Appleton Dental

State-of-the-art technology allows us to make your treatment procedures more comfortable, efficient, and accurate. Dr. Carlson and Dr. Giang-Carlson are always adding new equipment to our office to help exceed your expectations at every visit! Here are just a few things you'll find at Appleton Dental Care.

Digital X-Rays

This important diagnostic tool allows us to see what's happening internally so we can detect many dental issues that we might not see with a clinical examination. Early detection gives you the opportunity to treat your conditions with the least invasive procedures.

Digital x-rays emit 80% less radiation than traditional x-rays, and they also don't require storage or use of harsh chemicals for developing, making them safer for the environment. The images are readily available, so our doctors can diagnose and discuss your treatment needs with you in a timely manner.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide is a form of dental sedation that utilizes gas you breathe in through a mask during your procedure. It's fast working, and it helps to "take the edge off" so you can feel at ease during your treatment. Nitrous leaves your system quickly so you can resume your daily activities and drive yourself home safely. It can be used for almost any procedure and is also safe for children to use.

Rotary Endodontics

Would you believe that a root canal could be pleasant, efficient, and comfortable? It's true!

Rotary endodontic tools helps us make this possible. By utilizing electric tools instead of traditional hand tools, your procedure flows faster and more smoothly.

Electric tools are made of nickel-titanium, which is more flexible than stainless steel and, in turn, more comfortable for the patient. Let us show you how pleasant a root canal can be!

Intraoral Camera

Our intraoral camera delivers full color images of your teeth and mouth that help you see and better understand your treatment needs. We love to educate our patients about their oral health so they can make their own empowered choices about their dental care, and nothing helps us do this better than a picture.
